Small Wonders Storytime

For 2 to 5 year olds. Storytimes introduce children to the joy of books and develop their early literacy skills with fun, interactive experiences. Sessions run 45 - 60 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, playtime, word play, or a simple craft.

Know Your Rights

Deanne Medina of Community Activism Law Alliance (CALA) will provide free information regarding immigrants' rights. We will have a Spanish speaking interpreter available.
CALA’s Know Your Rights Presentation will discuss:
*What to do and say when in contact with immigration and police officers
*Updates about changes to immigration law and policies
*How to prepare “emergency kits” to help families who may be at risk for detention or deportation make appropriate plans.

Baby Bookworms Storytime

Basic Reading and Writing Group

This class is taught by a Project CARE tutor and covers reading, writing and vocabulary. Registration is required. Please call 708-656-8000 ext. 2383 to register and for more information.

Basic Computer Skills

March 30th, 2017,
10:30am to 12:00pm
Work on the computer skills you need to develop with an instructor present to answer questions as needed. Practice using the mouse or typing; search the internet; set-up or use email or Facebook; work on projects using Microsoft Office 2010 products. Sessions are drop-in, on a first-come first seated basis. Seating is limited, and we encourage you to attend only once a week in order to allow time for others. Participants are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet from home, in order to practice on their own device.

Adult Writers Group

Have you always wanted to write? Join our supportive and friendly group of writers for inspiration and camaraderie. We're dedicated to finishing our projects, sharing tips for story ideas, making time to write and having fun. No experience necessary.

Humans Vs Zombies

Back in October, ZOMBIES invaded the Berwyn Library! This March, they're BACK! ALL TEENS are called to join us in the fight to rescue humanity from the zombie blight or, if you're a zombie, find out how many brrrraaaaaains you can eat in this library wide after-hours event. Bring your own brightly colored foam dart blaster if you have one.

Spring Tea Party

Don your dressy best, boys and girls! Sip tea and celebrate spring with your grown-up as you make crafts, enjoy snacks, and hear stories for our 8th annual tea party.

Middle School Volunteers

Our middle school volunteer program is drop-in style (with the exception of high volume dates in late February/early March).
An application is required - please fill out this Google form before you show up to volunteer! Dates and times are subject to change.
