Read Books, Win Prizes!

What are your plans for summer?  Hanging out at the beach, lazing by the pool, enjoying sunny days and having fun?  But don’t let summer be a time when your brain turns to mush!  Have fun AND sharpen your mind when your plans for summer include joining our Reading Program.  Get a free prize just for signing up and then read or listen to books for chances to win prizes.  Want a fun book to read while lounging in the sand?  Then check out one of our beach reads.  Feel like challenging yourself while sipping lemonade in the yard?  Pick up a book about the mind, memory and imagination.  Or just read a book of your own choosing.  And don’t forget about our “Reading Together” logs that can be filled out when you read with a child.  During the nine week program, we will have three small drawings and one grand prize drawing.  For more information, please contact Readers’ Advisory at 708-795-8000 ext.  3005 or email ra@berwynlibrary.net.

Cooling Centers in Berwyn

Looking for a place to cool off a little?

The Berwyn Library is one of five designated cooling centers within the City.

And we have so many events going on, and quiet places to read, or computers to use, it's a good place for the whole family to spend a couple of hours out of the heat.
