   Meet the Staff

Library materials delivered to you!  Homebound service is for Berwyn residents with temporary or permanent disabilities that prevent them from using library facilities.  It couldn’t be any easier.  There is no age restriction.  Some have received books temporarily while restricted during a pregnancy or for a short recovery period after surgery.  Those interested need only to contact the library’s Outreach Services Department, 708-795-8000 ext. 3020 or fill out the request form below.

Services Include:

  • Free, twice-a-month delivery and pick up to the home
  • Delivery will be on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays between 10:00-2:00
  • Delivery will be made by library staff
  • Personally selected books, magazines, recorded books, or music on cassette or CD
  • This service is limited to the Berwyn Public Library’s holdings (no Inter-Library Loans) and excludes materials with multiple requests and new spoken recordings
  • Checkout will be for 4 weeks
