Talking Book Program

Document Actions

The Talking Book and Braille Service provides books and TalkingBookmagazines in Braille, audio/visual materials, and other services to qualifying individuals of any age.

The Illinois Network of Libraries Serving the Blind and Physically Handicapped is funded by grants from the Office of the Secretary of State through the Illinois State Library.  The Berwyn Public Library has partnered with the Talking Book Program to assist in providing these services to qualified patrons residing in Berwyn.

Cooling Centers in Berwyn

Looking for a place to cool off a little?

The Berwyn Library is one of five designated cooling centers within the City.

And we have so many events going on, and quiet places to read, or computers to use, it's a good place for the whole family to spend a couple of hours out of the heat.
