Book Alive Day

Come to the library to see staff dressed as children’s book characters!

Any child who comes to visit us dressed as a children’s book characters will receive a small prize.

Calling All Dolls! Club

Hey boys and girls! Join us for our brand new doll club, Calling All Dolls! Bring your dolls or use some of ours. Any dolls from Barbie to puppets are welcome! We will read stories, do play theatre, and even make things for our dolls. Ages 4-12.

Super Seeds With Heidi Bee

Children's author Heidi Bee Roemer, author of "What Kinds of Seeds Are These?", presents on the methods seeds travel by, all in a fun, interactive program. Bowl with a coconut, touch prickly burrs, and discover the wonderful world of seeds!

5-9 Year Old Story Time

Story Time aims to introduce children to the world of books and reading with fun, interactive experiences in a safe environment. Sessions can run from 30 to 45 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, finger plays and a simple craft activity.

Junior Book Club

Book discussion for children in grades 2 though 5. Come prepared to discuss the title of the month. Books are available at the Youth Services desk three weeks prior to the club meetings. Titles are as follows:

July: How To Eat Fried Worms by Thomas Rockwell
August: Garbage Helps Our Garden Grow: A Compost Story by Linda Glaser
