The Limitations

April 12th, 2014, 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Join this trio of experienced and knowledgeable musicians for an enjoyable afternoon of classic rockabilly hits, mainly from Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Stray Cats, Carl Perkins, and more from a memorable era in music. The band’s emphasis is on the great era of popular American music prior to the British Invasion, with a focus on Sun Records, which had major impact on American music and culture. The approach to the music is how the earliest of this music was played, sparsely, no drums, at speeds and volumes that allowed the purity of the musicianship to come fully through.
