Historian, Jim Gibbons, will take you on a roller-coaster ride during one of the most turbulent times in our nation’s history! From television to movies, fashions to fads, the times were changing and changing fast! This was the decade that moved away from the innocence of Camelot to the cry of “Hell no, we won’t go!” This was our countries time of dramatic change and the end of our innocence when all the world was watching. This was the 1960s!

Dia de los Muertos Party

Join us for a beautiful cultural experience for your children as we celebrate the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, when loved ones who have passed on are remembered. We will see traditional folklorico dancers, hear music, and learn together. Traditional Dia de los Muertos costume is welcome.

This presentation is an in-depth discussion on Health Care in Retirement. Jim Flanagan will go into detail on the different parts of Medicare: Part A (Hospital Insurance), Part B (Medical Insurance), Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans), and Part D (Prescription Plans). He will provide an in depth analysis of Medicare Supplements and the different plans that are available. Those attending will also receive an overview of long-term care insurance and the four most common strategies used to protect yourself from the high costs of long-term care.
