5-9 Year Old Story Time

Story Time aims to introduce children to the world of books and reading with fun, interactive experiences in a safe environment. Sessions can run from 30 to 45 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, finger plays and a simple craft activity.

Junior Book Club

Book discussion for children in grades 2 though 5. Come prepared to discuss the title of the month. Books are available at the Youth Services desk three weeks prior to the club meetings. Titles are as follows:

June: Holes by Louis Sachar
July: How To Eat Fried Worms by Thomas Rockwell
August: Garbage Helps Our Garden Grow: A Compost Story by Linda Glaser

Artsy-Smartsy Craft Club

Crafts help children develop fine motor skills and creativity, all while having fun! Join Miss Kathi for a different art project every week. A parent or caregiver must stay with the child for the program.
