Homework Help

Students in K-8 receive FREE one-on-one assistance with trained literacy tutors. Tutor areas of focus are reading and writing. Math tutors are available on a limited basis. Students who would like help with a few problems and just need a quiet space to study are also welcome.


Assistance is given on a first come first serve basis. Homework Help staff request that parents register their students for their next tutoring session while visiting the Homework Help Center. Appointments can also be made by contacting the Homework Help Coordinator.

Book Alive Day

Come to the library to see staff dressed as children’s book characters!

Any child who comes to visit us dressed as a children’s book characters will receive a small prize.

3-4 Year Old Story Time

Story Time aims to introduce children to the world of books and reading with fun, interactive experiences in a safe environment. Sessions can run from 30 to 45 minutes and may include stories, rhymes, songs, games, finger plays and a simple craft activity.
