For Youth - Library Hosted

Students in K-8 receive FREE one-on-one assistance with trained literacy tutors. Tutor areas of focus are reading and writing. Math tutors are available on a limited basis. Students who would like help with a few problems and just need a quiet space to study are also welcome.


Assistance is given on a first come first serve basis. Homework Help staff request that parents register their students for their next tutoring session while visiting the Homework Help Center. Appointments can also be made by contacting the Homework Help Coordinator.

Bring your creative building skills and join us at the library for a LEGO^® Club. LEGO^® blocks will be available to construct your masterpiece. For kids ages 7 through 12.

Stop in the Youth Services any time from 3-7 PM to help celebrate. We will have cake, crafts, and you may get to meet Amelia Bedelia herself!

Come to the library to see staff dressed as children’s book characters!

Any child who comes to visit us dressed as a children’s book characters will receive a small prize.

Movie for Rec Dept. Campers

Learn what’s under the surface of your handwriting. Chris McBrien will amaze you with facts he shouldn’t be able to know, but does just from your handwriting. Learn how to perform this amazing art form on yourself and others! Space is limited so register early!
